Unfortunately I haven't the time to post pics but he's here! Pieter Sabin was born at 1 am GMT Saturday the 18th of April, 2009, weighing in at 8lbs and 9oz and measuring 20 inches in length. He's currently in the NICU though with an infection of undetermined origins but he's responding well to antibiotics. I'm doing fine, a lot less sore than I thought I would be. Everyone pray!

So I heard from my mom that my cousin Julie went into labor last night. Well, I say last night but Wyoming time was around noonish I think. So Julie's probably cuddling little Angelica Marie right about now... that is, if she's done giving birth. I've heard of some women being in labor for 24 hours and stuff like that. WTF?! If my kids ever make me go through something like that for 24 hours, you better believe I'm going to use that to hang over their heads for the rest of their lives!

And I haven't gotten much done on her baby blanket. Sigh. But I am knitting a funky metallic fun fur eyelash scarf. And I finished Hazel's hat to match her scarf that she'll be receiving this Christmas.
Do you know what I just now realized? I haven't knitted ANYTHING for my parents! Dude, that's bad, I better think of something!

Only 36 days til we got to the States. EEEEE!!!! I wonder if I can put a little counter in my profile to count the days... hmm.
